Casual Flowy top
Today the only place I went to was the grocery store, but I didn’t feel like putting on a standard t-shirt. I love flowy tops like this, because they’re comfortable, easy to pull-on and need minimal accessories. It’s perfect for when you still want to look cute, but don’t want to put in the effort. Also, it was very hot today so this sheer top was very cool. A little tip: Patterned sheer tops are less see-through, so you could totally get away with just wearing a bra underneath this for most occasions.The brand is Mudd from Kohl’s so its a great price! Day trip to Boston
I love this city! Don’t get me wrong as a New Yorker, Manhattan will always be “THE City”, but what’s not to love about Boston?! It’s clean, nautical and every time I’m there I get to say fun things like “hahbah” and “Smaht”. Did I mention CLEAN? The New England Aquarium. If you love penguins as much as I do then you have to visit this aquarium! It opens up into this big room with a penguin exhibit. Siesta Keys & the Orlando Eye
A couple of years ago I took a much needed girls trip to Siesta Keys, Florida. The best part of the trip was the company ! I don’t get to see these girls as much as I’d like to. We booked a villa, which was AMAZING (I miss it more than the beach!) and included a heated pool. Depending on how you like to vacation, a villa is a good choice if you prefer to cook for yourself instead of going out to eat. Also, it makes you feel like you live there! California Dreaming: My trip to L.A.
Summer 2016 was one filled with adventure for me. I took my SECOND big girl trip. This time is was to the City of Angels. Hollywood. We stayed in Hollywood. Honestly, its less glamorous than it sounds, but you might as well do the tourist stuff while you’re there. However, its not somewhere that I recommend staying several days. Adventures in the Emerald Isle (Ireland Trip)
During summer 2016 I took my first grown up trip abroad and I have to admit I caught the travel bug! In this post I’m going to go through some of my favorite sites and adventures with some tips along the way! The Cliffs of Moher Breathtaking. Shrimp Pad Thai
Ingredients (Serving 2) Sauce 2 TBS Coconut Aminos* 1.5 TBS Tamarind paste* 0.5 TBS Lime Juice 0.5 TBS Rice Vinegar 2 TBS Granulated Sugar Pad Thai Noodles 1 TBS Olive oil* 1 cloves of garlic minced 1 egg .25 lbs of shrimp (peeled and de-veined) 7 ounces of dried rice pad Thai noodles 1 tsp paprika cut green onions to taste 1 medium zucchini (cut to preference) Directions Pad Thai Sauce In a small bowl, combine the sauce ingredients and mix until the sugar has dissolved.
