Easy Lemon Honey Salmon Recipe
Salmon is a staple in my kitchen! I love that it’s healthy and you can easily pair it with a quick side like roasted or steamed veggies and rice. My go-to when I want a quick salmon dinner is Dijon mustard and breadcrumbs baked at 400 degrees. However, yesterday evening I reached for the mustard only to find that it was an empty bottle placed back into the fridge. (Don’t you hate that?!) I scoured my pantry and came up with this lemon honey salmon recipe on the fly. I have to say it was pretty good! What’s even better is that it was super easy and quick!
Ingredients
You will need:
- 2 filets of salmon
- Smoked paprika
- Black pepper
- 3 cloves of garlic minced or ground garlic to preference
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 2 TBS lemon juice
- Parsley flakes
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Season salmon filets with smoked paprika and black pepper to preference.
- In a separate bowl combine garlic, honey, and lemon juice.
- Coat salmon with mixture using a basting brush.
- Sprinkle on dried parsley flakes to your preference.
- Bake salmon for 30 minutes.
- Broil salmon for additional 3 minutes. (You can skip this step, but I love adding a bit of smokiness!)
Enjoy! This lemon honey salmon dish is great over a bed of rice and paired with a side of veggies.
