Sun hat// Walking Sandals // Romper
This morning I took a walk with a good friend. It was very sunny today so I paired my romper (which I got years ago at Marshall’s) with a sun-hat. I love this hat. It was like having my own little personal shade and plus it also served as a cute accessory. It was a great price on Amazon. I’ll include the link. I got mine in “off-white”. We did about a 4 mile walk this morning. I wore a pair of walking sandals that I originally got for my trip to Italy. I have flat feet so my my feet get tired and ache pretty easily. These walking shoes…

Must-Haves for Tele-practice Comfort
I am so happy that we live in a time that technology can be used to serve as a platform for work during times like these. I am a pediatric SLP and the switch to telehealth has been a trying one. At this time, I feel pretty comfortable and confident in it. However, getting used to a new setting and routine wasn’t only taking toll on my mind but also my body. I wasn’t used to sitting and staring at a screen for hours on end. So I made some simple investments to help me (literally) feel more comfortable transitioning to telehealth. Here are my recommended must-haves for tele-practice comfort:…

Leftover Custard? Try this Super Easy Frozen Custard Recipe.
This a crazy EASY solution to leftover custard. This past weekend I tried my hand at making my favorite kind of doughnut : custard doughnuts. The closest thing you can get at Dunkin‘ is a Bavarian cream doughnut. Here’s the link for the custard filling: https://www.tastemade.co.uk/videos/easy-homemade-custard-doughnuts Anyway, this recipe left me with surplus of custard. Not a bad problem to have! So I looked up suggestions on what to do with it. The most popular suggestion was to make a trifle, which is delicious. However, I wanted something quick and easy that I could make with what I had at home. Then I remembered seeing one of those Popsicle molds…

Affordable Floral Slip Dress this Summer
If you’ve read any of my other posts, you’ll know I love a good dress. This is light, flowy, and so comfortable. It comes in different patterns. So if pink with tiny flowers isn’t your thing there are other options. It does run a little small in the bottom half, so if you are curvier in that region I recommend going up a size. For reference I am wearing a size medium and I am 5’2. I bought this dress from Aeropostale. The store is having an AMAZING sale right now. Check it out while it lasts! https://www.aeropostale.com/floral-midi-slip-dress/80546187.html?dwvar_80546187_color=181&cgid=girls-dresses-rompers#start=4

Harem-esque Pants
These pants are so comfortable and light. I don’t want to call them straight up “harem pants” because they are not so full in the legs. They’re great for a warm days when you don’t feel like wearing anything short. Pair them with a basic shirt and sandals and you’re good to go! I got this pair at Macy’s.
